Boudoir FAQ

Boudoir Marathon FAQ:

What do I wear? Typically women choose to bring matching bra and panty sets, corsets, knee-high stockings, birdcage or wedding veils, dress shirt and tie from significant other, jewelry and definitely a pair of stilletos! I would aim for about 3 complete outfits. You are welcome to bring any others props you would like in your photos.
Will there be a bunch of people watching? No. Just Danielle and a female assistant will be with you during the shoot.
Can I bring a friend? If you think it will make you more comfortable, for sure!
Is hair styling included in the session? No. Just make-up application. You will need to make arrangements to get your hair styled before the session, or do it yourself! It doesn’t need to be anything fancy, nice loose curls, or super sexy straight looks fabulous.
I have never modelled before, will I be ok? Totally! Danielle can help you with with every pose if you like, just bring a great attitude and your beautiful self!
What should I do to prepare? Come with a clean face and bring either body moisturizer or body oil if you want the “shiny” skin look. Give yourself lots of time to get to the venue. We have a pretty tight schedule so your session will not be extended if you are late.
Other things to remember:
- Tight clothing leaves marks on the skin. Bring a robe or something loose to change into once you get to the hotel.
- Don’t spray tan, it tends to turn orange in photographs.  If you are getting a real tan, stop tanning 3 days before your session.
- Don’t go on a binge diet. Eat normally, just drink plenty of water, get lots of sleep and don’t go out drinking the night before.
- Come without any makeup on and your hair already done.
